Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and landscaping through mowing, pruning, and irrigation management
- Operate park equipment including tractors, mowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Inspect and repair park amenities such as benches, playground equipment, and pathways
- Assist with event setup and breakdown for community gatherings and sports activities
- Ensure facilities meet safety standards through regular cleaning and maintenance checks
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries promptly
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or park maintenance preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and turf management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
