Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, trail systems, and recreational facilities
- Set up and supervise community events, festivals, and sports activities
- Operate maintenance equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and event attendees
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support seasonal programs like summer camps and outdoor fitness classes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of park maintenance principles and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Experience with landscaping tools or outdoor recreation preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
