Responsibilities
- Maintain parks, athletic fields, and green spaces using city-provided equipment
- Operate machinery (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) safely and efficiently
- Set up/breakdown recreational facilities for events and activities
- Perform daily safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Assist in seasonal park enhancements and beautification projects
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors
- Adhere to all city safety protocols and environmental standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Texas driver's license (Class C)
- Ability to operate outdoor equipment (training provided)
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance practices
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Previous landscaping/park maintenance experience preferred
