Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Grounds: Maintain and improve park facilities, athletic fields, green spaces, and recreational areas to ensure high-quality standards.
- Program Support: Assist in the organization, setup, and execution of community programs, sports leagues, and special events.
- Safety & Compliance: Monitor park grounds to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to park rules and regulations.
- Manual Labor: Perform essential physical tasks including mowing, trimming, raking, snow removal, and light construction or facility repair.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional assistance to park visitors, residents, and program participants.
- Equipment Management: Operate and perform basic maintenance on park vehicles, tools, and recreational equipment safely.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Driver's License: Valid Nebraska driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record is mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse groups.
- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Availability: Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
