Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, asphalt cutters) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist in road maintenance, sidewalk repairs, and storm drain cleaning operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and municipal regulations
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Document daily work activities and material usage accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Colorado driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety protocols
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- 1+ years of construction or public works experience preferred
- Ability to obtain required certifications (e.g., flagging, OSHA 10)
- Strong teamwork skills and reliable transportation
