Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and green spaces
- Lead recreational programs including youth sports, fitness classes, and community events
- Ensure visitor safety through proactive monitoring and emergency response protocols
- Perform routine maintenance including landscaping, equipment inspections, and cleaning
- Enforce park regulations while providing exceptional customer service to all patrons
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special event planning and execution
- Document facility conditions and maintenance activities using digital systems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Experience in customer service or recreation preferred
- Basic knowledge of facility maintenance procedures
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
