Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, sports courts, and equipment
- Assist in organizing community events, tournaments, and youth programs
- Perform routine landscaping, groundskeeping, and safety inspections
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and event attendees
- Enforce park rules and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with maintenance crews for facility repairs and improvements
- Prepare incident reports and assist with emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in parks maintenance, landscaping, or recreation
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, operate machinery, and work outdoors in all weather
- Strong communication skills and commitment to community service
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
