Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including mowing, pruning, litter removal, and irrigation checks
- Operate maintenance equipment safely (mowers, trimmers, basic tools)
- Assist with event setup/teardown for community activities and sports programs
- Monitor park usage, report safety concerns, and enforce park regulations
- Provide courteous customer service to park visitors and address inquiries
- Complete daily maintenance logs and equipment inspection reports
- Collaborate with team on seasonal projects and beautification initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance practices and safety protocols
- Experience with hand/power tools and small equipment operation
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
