Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, facilities, and equipment including mowing, pruning, and playground inspections
- Operate maintenance machinery safely and efficiently
- Assist with event setup and support for recreational activities
- Enforce park rules and provide excellent customer service to visitors
- Report maintenance issues and safety hazards promptly
- Collaborate with team members on seasonal projects and cleanup initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license with clean record
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance practices preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with hand/power tools and landscaping equipment
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
