Responsibilities
- Maintain park facilities, playgrounds, trails, and sports fields
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.)
- Assist with seasonal park setups, events, and cleanup operations
- Conduct safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service to park visitors
- Collaborate with team on projects and community initiatives
- Support winter maintenance and snow removal as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alaska driver's license
- Experience in grounds maintenance or recreation operations
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varied weather
- Basic knowledge of park safety protocols
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
