Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities (playgrounds, athletic courts, restrooms)
- Conduct routine safety inspections and hazard mitigation
- Assist with event setup and community program coordination
- Perform landscape maintenance and seasonal planting
- Interact positively with park visitors and address inquiries
- Complete accurate maintenance logs and incident reports
- Collaborate with team on park improvement projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to complete paid training program (4 weeks)
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment operation
- CPR/First Aid certification (provided during training)
- Pass background check and drug screening
