Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean public parks, recreational facilities, and athletic fields to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for residents.
- Perform routine landscaping duties, including mowing, trimming, raking, and planting flowers and shrubs.
- Assist in the setup, operation, and breakdown of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and facility maintenance protocols.
- Monitor park grounds for vandalism, safety hazards, and maintenance needs; report issues promptly to supervisors.
- Operate basic landscaping equipment and hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping and groundskeeping practices is a plus.
- Strong commitment to customer service and community engagement.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on specific assignment.
