Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities including playgrounds, sports courts, and walking trails
- Assist with event setup and coordination for community festivals and recreational programs
- Perform routine landscape maintenance including mowing, pruning, and seasonal planting
- Conduct safety inspections and report facility hazards or maintenance needs
- Support youth and adult recreational programs as needed during peak seasons
- Interact professionally with park visitors and provide information about facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment operation
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays during peak seasons
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred (training provided)
