Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean park facilities, restrooms, picnic areas, and athletic fields to ensure high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Monitor park activities and enforce rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of recreational programs, concerts, and community events.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and trash removal.
- Interact positively with park visitors and provide information regarding park rules and facilities.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate hand and power tools is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the public.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license preferred.
- Clean criminal background check required.
