Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities (playgrounds, sports courts, restrooms)
- Assist in organizing recreational programs and community events
- Perform routine landscaping and groundskeeping duties
- Ensure visitor safety through regular facility inspections
- Interact with park visitors and provide excellent customer service
- Support special event setup and breakdown logistics
- Complete maintenance reports and inventory tracking
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Driver's License (Class C) required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying weather
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of groundskeeping tools preferred
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- CPR/First Aid certification (provided during training)
