Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including landscaping, trail upkeep, and facility cleaning
- Support recreational program setup, supervision, and participant safety
- Operate park equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems) with proper certification
- Assist with special events, festivals, and community gatherings
- Enforce park rules and provide excellent customer service to visitors
- Complete daily maintenance logs and report safety concerns
- Collaborate with full-time staff on seasonal projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment (training provided)
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Previous park/recreation or customer service experience preferred
