Responsibilities
- Perform general landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, weeding, and planting.
- Operate and maintain park equipment, tools, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Collect and remove litter and trash from parks, playgrounds, and public areas.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of recreational events, sports fields, and community programs.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper water conservation and landscape health.
- Enforce park rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment for all visitors.
- Report maintenance needs or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or general labor preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Valid California Class C Driverβs License and a clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of garden tools and equipment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
