Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and weeding in various park locations.
- Assist in the set-up and tear-down of community events, sports leagues, and recreational programs.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of park facilities, restrooms, and playgrounds.
- Monitor park grounds for safety hazards, debris, or maintenance needs and report them promptly.
- Operate and maintain light power equipment, such as mowers and trimmers.
- Interact with the public in a friendly and professional manner, providing information and assistance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking on uneven terrain.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping or gardening practices is a plus but not required.
- Valid driver’s license (depending on specific position requirements).
- Commitment to safety protocols and public service.
