Responsibilities
- Safely deliver and collect mail along assigned routes using USPS vehicles
- Sort and organize mail efficiently according to delivery standards
- Operate delivery vehicles responsibly and maintain daily logs
- Provide exceptional customer service at residences and businesses
- Follow all USPS safety regulations and security protocols
- Adapt to route changes and weather conditions
- Complete delivery scanning and documentation requirements
- Report maintenance issues for postal equipment and vehicles
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. citizen
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk 5-8 miles daily in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and documentation
- Reliable transportation to/from USPS facility
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and holidays as needed
