Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park facilities, playgrounds, and sports courts
- Lead community events, classes, and youth programs
- Implement sustainable landscaping and conservation practices
- Manage facility reservations and customer inquiries remotely
- Conduct safety inspections and emergency response protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban planning initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Recreation preferred
- 2+ years parks maintenance or event coordination experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency in facility management software (e.g., RecTrac)
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/holidays
