Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain park equipment (mowers, trimmers, irrigation systems)
- Inspect and repair playgrounds, athletic courts, and walking trails
- Implement landscape beautification projects (planting, irrigation, pest control)
- Assist with event setup/teardown for community festivals and sports leagues
- Enforce park safety protocols and visitor assistance
- Complete daily maintenance logs and equipment reports
- Collaborate with groundskeeping team on seasonal projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Experience operating landscaping/maintenance equipment preferred
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and turf management
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme temperatures
- Customer service skills and conflict resolution abilities
- Certification in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
