Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of park facilities including playgrounds, trails, and athletic courts
- Operate equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely
- Assist with event setup and supervision for community programs and festivals
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support seasonal activities including summer camps and youth sports
- Engage with park visitors to provide information and ensure positive experiences
- Collaborate with team members on beautification projects and invasive species removal
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic knowledge of grounds maintenance equipment and safety protocols
- Strong communication skills with diverse community members
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
- First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Experience in customer service or recreational programs a plus
