Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds including mowing, trimming, litter removal, and landscape upkeep
- Operate light equipment (mowers, trimmers, leaf blowers) safely and efficiently
- Set up/break down event spaces for community gatherings and sports activities
- Perform routine inspections of facilities and report maintenance needs
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and address inquiries
- Support seasonal programs including youth sports and outdoor events
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe, clean, and enjoyable public spaces
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions
- Basic equipment operation knowledge or willingness to train
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and punctuality
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Customer service experience preferred but not required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
