Responsibilities
- Maintain park grounds, athletic fields, and facilities through landscaping, irrigation, and equipment operation
- Coordinate and supervise recreational activities including youth sports and community events
- Enforce park safety regulations and assist visitors with inquiries
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for facility upkeep
- Document daily operations and submit activity reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months of parks maintenance or recreation experience preferred
- Valid California Driver's License with clean record
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of turf management and irrigation systems
