Responsibilities
- Perform park maintenance duties including landscaping, trash removal, and equipment upkeep
- Assist with recreational program setup, supervision, and participant engagement
- Monitor park facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
- Provide excellent customer service to park visitors and program participants
- Support event coordination and logistics for community activities
- Complete incident reports and safety documentation as needed
- Collaborate with team members to maintain operational efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in parks, maintenance, or customer service preferred
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid California Driver's License (if operating city vehicles)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
