Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of parks, trails, and recreational facilities (landscaping, equipment checks, safety inspections)
- Coordinate and execute community events, sports leagues, and educational programs
- Conduct facility inspections and report maintenance needs using digital platforms
- Manage volunteer programs and community outreach initiatives
- Maintain accurate records of operations, incidents, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on park development projects
- Implement sustainable practices in park operations and resource management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certification in park management preferred
- 2+ years experience in parks, facilities maintenance, or recreation services
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficiency with digital tools for reporting (GIS, CRM systems, or similar)
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions (50% field time)
- Strong communication skills for community engagement and team coordination
- Experience with event planning and volunteer program coordination
