Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to department leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting preparation.
- Manage and maintain accurate electronic and physical records, ensuring strict confidentiality and compliance with state regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and presentations using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Act as the primary point of contact for public inquiries via phone and email, directing messages to the appropriate staff members efficiently.
- Coordinate logistics for departmental meetings and community outreach events.
- Perform data entry tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree or relevant administrative experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to pass a mandatory state background check and fingerprinting process.
- Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
