Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers along an assigned route in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.
- Collect and process incoming mail, including Express Mail and Priority Mail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving issues at the customer's doorstep.
- Sort and bundle mail according to delivery order and address accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area.
- Adhere to all postal safety regulations and procedures while operating postal vehicles.
- Handle physical tasks, including lifting packages weighing up to 70 lbs and walking extended distances daily.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have permanent resident status.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and criminal background check.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages and walk up to 10 miles per day in all weather conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
