Responsibilities
- Sort and deliver mail and packages efficiently along an assigned route.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pick-up requests.
- Operate a USPS vehicle (van or tractor) in a safe and responsible manner.
- Handle various mail handling equipment, including canceling machines and parcel sorting systems.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and physical requirements of the job.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, or permanent resident alien.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods in various weather conditions.
