Responsibilities
- Process and maintain official municipal records, permits, and documentation with meticulous attention to detail
- Provide exceptional customer service to citizens via phone, email, and in-person inquiries
- Assist with agenda preparation, minute-taking, and scheduling for city council meetings
- Manage departmental filing systems and ensure compliance with record-keeping regulations
- Process and distribute official communications including ordinances and public notices
- Support administrative functions across multiple city departments as needed
- Maintain accurate databases and digital records using specialized government software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in clerical, administrative, or customer service roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government record systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
