Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume of incoming enquiries via telephone, email, and post, ensuring accurate and timely responses.
- Process and update customer records in the central database with strict attention to data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of case files and documentation for internal review.
- Provide accurate information regarding government policies, procedures, and benefit entitlements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer queries efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for visitors and callers.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics, or proven experience in an administrative role.
- Experience in a customer-facing role within the public sector or a similar service-oriented industry.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and experience with databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing your own time effectively.
- Understanding of data protection and confidentiality policies is highly desirable.
