Responsibilities
- Perform accurate data entry and maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital records.
- Greet visitors and answer incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding county services, forms, and procedures.
- Prepare, sort, and distribute mail and interoffice correspondence.
- Assist in the preparation of meeting materials and basic office reports.
- Perform other clerical duties as assigned by department supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a clerical, administrative, or customer service role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and perform light physical tasks.
