Responsibilities
- Assist in the intake and processing of applications for various social services programs.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in both digital and physical formats to ensure compliance.
- Answer high-volume phone inquiries from the public and provide accurate information regarding eligibility and procedures.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and documentation for review by senior supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
- Perform data entry and update case management systems with current client information.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in administrative support, customer service, or a government setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong typing/data entry skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse population.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings, as required by department needs.
