Responsibilities
- Develop and implement neighborhood outreach strategies for city programs
- Coordinate community events and informational workshops
- Assist residents with accessing city services and resources
- Maintain accurate records of community engagement metrics
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on public initiatives
- Prepare bilingual (English/Spanish) educational materials
- Represent the city at community meetings and forums
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Communications, or related field
- 1+ years experience in community outreach or customer service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (required)
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
- Pass background check and fingerprinting requirements
