- Coordinate community events and town halls to gather resident feedback on municipal initiatives
- Assist eligible residents with applications for public assistance programs
- Maintain accurate records of community engagement metrics and service utilization
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to align outreach with city priorities
- Prepare monthly reports on community needs and program effectiveness
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in community outreach or public relations
- Proficiency in Spanish or Vietnamese strongly preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible evenings/weekends for community events
- Experience with data collection and reporting tools (e.g., SurveyMonkey, Excel)
