Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a smile, answering questions regarding vehicle registration, titles, and license renewals.
- Process incoming transactions accurately and efficiently using state-of-the-art DMV software.
- Verify documents for compliance with state regulations and explain complex procedures to the public.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby environment for all visitors.
- Assist customers with online kiosks and self-service options to reduce wait times.
- Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions with strict accuracy and adherence to security protocols.
- Collaborate with the team to streamline workflows and improve overall customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or government service is highly preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
