Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain confidential veteran records and documentation systems
- Coordinate scheduling, correspondence, and communications for department leadership
- Assist in preparing reports, briefings, and official federal documents
- Process administrative tasks including travel authorizations and expense reports
- Support veteran outreach initiatives and community engagement programs
- Collaborate with federal agencies and community partners on special projects
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and VA policies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and federal record-keeping systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Experience working with veterans or federal agencies preferred
- Flexible availability (20-25 hours/week, weekdays)
