Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit applications with 99% accuracy per federal guidelines
- Manage confidential records using VA's secure digital systems
- Coordinate multi-departmental communications via email and phone
- Prepare official correspondence using federal formatting standards
- Assist with veterans' intake and eligibility verification
- Support quarterly compliance audits through documentation review
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 1 year administrative experience in federal or regulated environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Moderate Risk security clearance
- Excellent written communication skills
- Knowledge of VA regulations and procedures preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Valid Michigan driver's license may be required
