Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough reviews of federal benefit applications and eligibility documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Provide expert consultation and guidance to veterans and their families regarding VA and federal entitlement programs.
- Update and maintain confidential client records in federal databases with a high degree of precision.
- Assist in the preparation of complex reports and correspondence for federal oversight bodies.
- Collaborate with the legal and administrative teams to resolve complex benefits discrepancies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing federal regulations and policy updates.
Qualifications
- Associateās or Bachelorās degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal benefits administration, claims processing, or veterans' services.
- Familiarity with VA systems, SF-50 forms, and federal HR regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex policy documents.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible, part-time schedule efficiently.
