Responsibilities
- Analyze complex veteran healthcare and benefits datasets to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau for federal stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with VA privacy regulations (HIPAA, PII)
- Prepare monthly performance reports for leadership review and congressional briefings
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data collection methodologies
- Document data processes and maintain audit trails for federal compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with federal data systems (VA, DoD, or similar preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and data visualization tools
- Familiarity with VA-specific regulations and data governance frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA background clearance
- Experience with veteran healthcare datasets a strong plus
- U.S. citizenship required
