Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for agency leadership
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and federal data governance standards
- Collaborate with DHS, FBI, and TSA analysts on joint projects
- Present findings to senior officials through executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across secure federal systems
- Support disaster response data initiatives during emergencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 2+ years of federal government data analysis experience
- Expertise in SQL and at least one analytical language (Python/R)
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI and ETL processes
- Knowledge of federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Ability to work 20-25 hours weekly with flexible scheduling
- U.S. citizenship required
