Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive screening interviews to assess candidate eligibility for federal positions and security clearance requirements.
- Guide applicants through the complex USAJOBS application process, including completion of the SF-86 questionnaire.
- Partner with federal hiring managers in New York to identify staffing gaps and define role specifications for part-time roles.
- Provide expert advice on federal benefits, salary scales, and hiring timelines to prospective applicants.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance with OPM (Office of Personnel Management) regulations.
- Track recruitment metrics and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) with precision.
- Organize and facilitate virtual information sessions regarding federal employment opportunities.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a government security clearance (Secret or Top Secret preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal recruitment, HR, or security clearance processing.
- Deep understanding of the Federal Hiring Process, GS Pay Scale, and Part-Time employment policies.
- Strong knowledge of OPM guidelines and the Security Clearance adjudication process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulations clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends for events.
