Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues for VA staff.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage IT asset inventory and ensure proper documentation of all equipment.
- Assist in the deployment and support of mobile devices and communication tools.
- Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operations.
- Adhere to federal security protocols and data privacy regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Experience: One year of specialized experience (e.g., computer hardware/software troubleshooting).
- Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree in IT preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and understanding of basic networking concepts.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a favorable background investigation.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
