Responsibilities
- Review and process pension eligibility requests and retirement applications with high accuracy.
- Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to explain pension calculations, survivor benefits, and retirement options.
- Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of employee records in our secure federal database.
- Collaborate with the HR department to resolve complex pension discrepancies and benefit questions.
- Stay updated on federal regulations, OPM guidelines, and changes to pension legislation.
- Provide exceptional customer service to veterans and federal employees via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or HR preferred.
- Previous experience with federal pension systems (FERS/CSRS) is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
