Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize federal filing systems, ensuring accurate indexing and secure storage of sensitive documents.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails, and official mail for federal agencies with strict adherence to protocols.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, memos, and briefings using Microsoft Office Suite and federal case management software.
- Conduct regular audits of physical and digital records to ensure compliance with federal retention policies.
- Provide administrative support to federal staff, including scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
- Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion and integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline office operations and improve workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; Associate’s degree in Records Management or related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably within a government or federal contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal record retention laws and privacy regulations (e.g., FOIA compliance).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with document management systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
