Responsibilities
- Process veteran benefit claims with precision and compliance to federal regulations
- Provide remote customer support via phone, email, and secure messaging systems
- Maintain confidential case files in accordance with VA privacy standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams during quarterly on-site alignment sessions
- Conduct eligibility verification using federal databases and documentation review
- Generate monthly performance reports using VA-specific software platforms
- Participate in mandatory training sessions for policy updates and system upgrades
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Minimum 2 years administrative or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems
- Ability to pass federal background investigation and credit check
- Strong attention to detail with 99%+ accuracy in documentation
- Experience with remote collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, SharePoint)
- Preferred: Prior federal/government work experience or veterans preference
- Must reside within 50 miles of Fort Worth for occasional on-site requirements
