Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming correspondence, ensuring accurate data entry into digital government systems.
- Provide high-quality customer service and administrative support to the public and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, briefing papers, and internal documentation.
- Maintain filing systems and records in compliance with government data protection regulations.
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate workflows and resolve administrative queries.
- Conduct research on policy changes to ensure office procedures are up to date.
Qualifications
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above).
- Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with high levels of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital government systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of the UK public sector environment is a plus.
