Responsibilities
- Manage Office Operations: Handle incoming mail, process correspondence, and maintain organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Public Assistance: Assist visitors and stakeholders with inquiries regarding state programs and departmental procedures.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry, update databases, and prepare reports for department heads.
- Meeting Support: Schedule appointments, prepare meeting agendas, and take minutes during departmental briefings.
- Compliance: Ensure all administrative tasks adhere to state government regulations and privacy standards.
- Vendor Coordination: Assist with ordering supplies and coordinating services with external vendors.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an office or administrative setting is a plus.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
