Responsibilities
- Process and review government documents, applications, and permits with high accuracy.
- Assist constituents by answering inquiries regarding local regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain and update digital and physical filing systems to ensure data integrity.
- Coordinate with federal and state agencies to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence for department heads.
- Perform data entry tasks using secure government databases and ensure confidentiality.
- Support special projects and community outreach initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Service preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in administrative support, customer service, or government office work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection and computer equipment if working remotely.
- U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required for government clearance.
