Responsibilities
- Tech Support & Troubleshooting: Provide Tier 2 support for employees, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on servers, workstations, and peripherals to ensure system stability and security.
- Network Administration: Assist in monitoring local area networks (LAN), ensuring connectivity, and troubleshooting network outages.
- Compliance & Security: Assist in enforcing data privacy policies and ensuring compliance with federal and state IT regulations.
- Hardware & Asset Management: Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory tracking, deployment, and decommissioning.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions and create documentation to assist staff with new technologies and software updates.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with staff at all technical levels.
- Schedule: Availability to work a part-time schedule (20-25 hours per week) with some flexibility for evening or weekend coverage during critical periods.
